Rotary Fights Hunger

May 3, 2025 Event

We are TWO WEEKS away! Cabarrus Rotary is leading a community-wide event to pack 100,000 meals for Lifeline Christian Missions to share within our community. Working with the other Rotary clubs, we will highlight what Rotary is all about - Service Above Self.

We need everyone's help to promote this event and get 380+ volunteers signed. You can help specifically by:

  • Facebook event has been created. RSVP to the event and share it.
  • promotional video has been created featuring our own Dan Levinson. Please share this on your social media and via email.
  • Online Volunteer Sign-up is ready. Share that link with friends, groups, everyone!
  • Volunteer Recruitment Flyer - This is a gerat flyer to share with groups you are involved with ( church, HOA, sports, civic, etc).
  • Sponsorship Letter - we are doing great with fundraising, but still need to make a push for additional sponsors. Use this letter to help recruit!

Every Rotarian is asked to participate in a committee to make it happen. The event day is scheduled for May 3, 2025 (9am-12:30pm) at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center - Gold Hall. There is plenty of prework to do so even if you can't make it that morning, there are opportunities for you to participate.

Cabarrus Club Has Fun While Helping Children at Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital Pediatric Pavilion

By Monday, January 24, 2022

For those of you who may have missed the “find your inner child” service project today during our club, let me say, I have rarely seen so much intensity of focus while coloring a picture!  Each member was given a page to color, then asked to place her/his name and age at the top of the masterpiece, share a get well wish, and turn it in. Yep, fun, laughter, and camaraderie – that would be us!

The finished product of a zip-lock bag with a coloring book, box of 24 crayons sporting the Rotary gold foil seal and wishes for getting well – all were delivered to the Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital Pediatric Pavilion.
